A MicroMasters will likely not be a difference maker when trying to get a DS job. This is obviously my opinion but I don't think it's an unusual one. That being said, I can't tell you whether the MIT MicroMaster courses are any good. The Georgia Tech ones are typically pretty strong.

I’m working through both Probability and Data Science for Social Sciences right now, and it’s kicking my ass. I should not have done two classes at once. My goal with the Micromasters was to use it to get into the Master’s at Harvard Extension, but now I’m thinking of just dropping the Micromasters.
